Home Automation
In case you aren’t already aware, 'Home Automation' is the generic term used to describe what we once only saw in Futuristic Movies or on ‘Tomorrow’s World’. That is, for example, the ability to open your driveway gates, which then triggers the lighting up of the pathway, the switching of on of your CD player in the kitchen and Sky News coming on in the living room without the push of a single button!

Similarly it means when you settle down for a Saturday night movie at home, with the single touch of a button on your Beo5 Touch Screen remote control, the lights will dim, the curtains close, a projector and cinema screen drop out of the ceiling and your latest Blu-ray movies start to play. In fact the only thing we can’t do is drink your glass of wine for you!

The brain behind all of this is the ingenious Bang & Olufsen Master Link Gateway. This clever piece of the jigsaw sits invisibly between your Bang & Olufsen audio-visual system and a select number of advanced partner home automation systems such as Lutron Homeworks, Crestron, AMX, Control 4, Bush Jaeger & LK Schneider etc. Master Link Gateway continuously translates commands between your various electronic products either as you control them or as may be pre-programmed - such as turning the kids televisions and lights off automatically at 9pm.
