Darren Maynard is Dealer Principal of both Bang & Olufsen of Chelmsford and Leigh on Sea. He began working for Kelleys Radio in 1989 as a Junior Salesman, however, Darren’s abilities were soon recognised and within a year was been promoted to Assistant Manager at the group's Westcliff branch. By 1993 he had become manager of the store. He moved to Brentwood to run the company's first Bang & Olufsen shop-in-shop enterprise. In December 2000 Darren took charge of the opening and managing of Bang & Olufsen in Chelmsford, which he now owns.

Store Manager Barry Harber has more than 20 years experience with the Bang & Olufsen brand, and has a strong passion for audio and video systems. Also an ex member of the Kelleys Radio team, Barry held various management positions withing Kelleys, although he now prefers dealing with the Bang & Olufsen alone.

Sales Consultant Steven Ward is the newest member of the team, joining us in October of 2008. However, Steven is no stranger to the Bang & Olufsen world of products. He has a strong history with the brand from a previous position held. Steven also, on his own admission, loves nothing more than working within the audio world.
