With BeoLink we say "home" rather than "room" because all of our products can be enjoyed in every room in your home, and the entertainment can virtually "follow" you around the house. For example, you can listen to and control your main audio system in the lounge via a set of Bang & Olufsen speakers in your kitchen , just as easily and naturally as turning on a light. A stand-alone Bang & Olufsen television in your bedroom can allow you to watch the television, a DVD or satellite sourced from your Bang & Olufsen main equipment in the living room, even if it is being used by someone else to watch a television programme.
MasterLink Gateway
In addition to the full A/V integration and control offered by the MasterLink system, Bang & Olufsen provides customers with a solution that easily integrates with other electronic equipment in the home.
The MasterLink Gateway platform offers seamless integration between A/V products and third party products with no perceived barriers between them. MasterLink Gateway simply translates Bang & Olufsen MasterLink commands into LAN (ethernet) or RS 232/RS 485 commands, which is understood by most home automation systems.
