For example, you can listen to and control your main audio system in the lounge via a set of Bang & Olufsen speakers in your kitchen , just as easily and naturally as turning on a light. A stand-alone Bang & Olufsen television in your bedroom can allow you to watch the television, a DVD or satellite sourced from your Bang & Olufsen main equipment in the living room, even if it is being used by someone else to watch a television programme.

MasterLink Gateway
In addition to the full A/V integration and control offered by the MasterLink system, Bang & Olufsen provides customers with a solution that easily integrates with other electronic equipment in the home.
The MasterLink Gateway platform offers seamless integration between A/V products and third party products with no perceived barriers between them. MasterLink Gateway simply translates Bang & Olufsen MasterLink commands into LAN (ethernet) or RS 232/RS 485 commands, which is understood by most home automation systems.
