BeoVision 8-40 represents the perfect balance between tested technology and advanced features, between superior image and pure sound, and between inspired looks and easy operation.
Both the television LCD panel and the internal circuitry draw on the newest technology available, much of it unique to Bang & Olufsen. The automatic contrast plays a major role, ensuring that the screen emits abundant light to match the surrounding conditions and turning it back down as soon as you hit the room’s dimmer switch. New screen technology helps cut reflections to provide even more natural black levels. Finally, BeoVision 8 actually adapts the picture to the content you are watching – whether it is a DVD movie or digital or analogue television signals. The overall goal is to provide the best possible image from all sources and under all conditions – with minimal fuss for the user.
The compact BeoVision 8 cabinet is filled to capacity with an advanced amplifier and no less than five loudspeaker units to get that clear and authoritative Bang & Olufsen sound. The dedicated bass provides a firm foundation for movies and music, while the front units deliver incredibly natural human speech.
