A recent addition to the team at Leicester; Wayne Bright is now Store Manager and offers a simple message: “Deliver excellence in customer service to match that of our superlative product range.”
Wayne has a basic yet vital ethos when it comes to Bang & Olufsen; “we are the premium brand in home entertainment systems and we aim to deliver first class customer care to accompany the wonderful products we sell.” Having initially begun his Bang & Olufsen career in the Lincoln branch of the revered Sykes Group, Wayne learnt his trade under the guidance of Michael Clark, Director and driving force behind Lincoln. “Wayne was still undertaking a Masters degree when he first joined us, so it was hard for him to juggle both commitments, but he soon fell in love with the brand and became a keen enthusiast for the highest quality and attention to detail our products offer.”
“I loved working with Bang & Olufsen from the very beginning. The quality of the products, the use of the finest materials and the fact that they are hand built from their original home in Denmark is a truly remarkable achievement.”
“I feel honoured to work with such high quality items and I strive to do everything we can to match the high expectations of our customers and help them enjoy the magical experience that is Bang & Olufsen.”
Wayne currently lives in Lincoln with his fiancée and commutes daily to the Leicester store, he plays Sunday League football and is also a keen runner currently raising fund for charity in the Lincoln 10K road run.
Sales consultant Carl joins Bang & Olufsen of Leicester with a wealth of retail experience; having worked at prestigious stores, like Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Selfridges. He was then fortunate to be asked to represent Davidoff in St James, London and at many high-profile charity events across the UK; such as Ashe Park Polo (HRH Prince of Wales), Savoy Hotel, Cambridge May Ball and The European Film Awards.
This is one side of the story as Carl harbours a secret past life; that of a Professional Dancer living and working in London. Having trained for 3 years at Laine Theatre Arts, he had the opportunity of working in all forms of the media: video, commercial, television, film, radio, trade shows and theatre. There have been some amazing standout moments for Carl; making 2 commercials for America (one for Mercedes Benz), dancing at The London Palladium, and being chosen as Michael Keeton's Movement Double in the Feature Film 'Batman'. It's a bit surreal; loving Batman as a Teenager and then playing him as a 27 year old, doing a lot of the flight and action sequences, with Tim Burton, Jack Nicholson and Kim Basinger.
It's incredible where life takes you and it's all about commitment, focus and dedication. I aim to bring the highest level of customer service to Bang & Olufsen, complemented with my passion and love of media and music.
These days I spend my spare time with my 2 daughters, who are the 'apple of my eye', but when I get the chance I escape back to London to soak up some culture in the form of a performance, or concert!
Adam Petch
Adam Petch smiles at the very notion of ‘spare time’. With three children to contend with, when Adam’s not installing Bang & Olufsen, he tends to be at home; “For exercise I take the dog for a long walk!” Adam’s work often involves long days installing networked multi room systems.
Sound complicated? “Actually it’s really not so very difficult. Time consuming and sometimes intricate yes, but complicated, generally not. The equipment is very reliable, so I can be confident that when I've installed it things will be fine. Anyway, I’ve been doing it a long time, so I like to think I’ve got the hang of it by now!”
Adam commutes daily from his Lincolnshire home. A chore? “Not at all - I do a job I really enjoy. I feel proud to work for Bang & Olufsen”.
