Michael Clark is the Director of, and driving force behind, Bang & Olufsen of Lincoln, a part of of the Sykes group of companies. Founded in 1969, ours is amongst the largest and longest established Bang & Olufsen retailers in the UK. We are proud to be members of the Bang & Olufsen family, and proud of our longevity.
Michael started his Bang & Olufsen career here in Lincoln some seven years ago, and quickly fell in love with the company, and the unique mindset which informs everything we do.
"It may some silly, but the fact is that I love my work here, and genuinely can’t think of anything I’d rather be doing. This is a unique brand, manifestly different and, in my opinion, better than anything else in the electronics industry. I like that a great deal – the idea that we can be the best, and that we can strive to keep getting better”.
Michael spent four very successful years managing Bang & Olufsen of Leicester, before full directorship saw him return ‘home’ to Lincoln.
"The store here on the High Street is very much a reference within the Bang & Olufsen family. It’s successful, established and well regarded within the local community. People come because they feel confident that we will deliver what we promise, and, without wanting to appear arrogant, I think they enjoy coming here. They like the fact that they can have a relaxed, grown up conversation with somebody who understands, and cares about, what they do.”

About us
Wayne Bright joined the company in February 2009 and for the first few months he was juggling a history masters degree at the University of Lincoln whilst keeping his mind focused on excellent customer service.
'Its what I thrive on, he enthuses. The pressure of completing my dissertation and selling Bang & Olufsen both are equally challenging but I seem to have found my feet in this field.'
What was evident to all the staff at Lincoln was Waynes ability to communicate with customers with his pleasant, likeable demeanor. 'I enjoy dealing with customers and I love selling this brand, he says. Its difficult to your finger on what makes Bang & Olufsen so special but I suppose thats it appeal.'
That appeal has clearly rubbed off on Wayne personally, 'My first product will almost certainly be a BeoSound 9000. That product exudes everything superb about Bang & Olufsen.'
