There are many devices that can be connected to a modern television.  Sky HD, iTunes, PlayStation 3, Blu Ray DVD players and many others.  However, more devices mean more remote controls and more cables.  Programmable remote controls can ease the burden a little, but they still require the products to be in line of sight, and usually are time consuming to set up.

Bang & Olufsen believe that operation of your home entertainment system should be simple, therefore our latest range of televisions come with a built in Peripheral Unit Controller. 

The Peripheral Unit Controller, or PUC, is a device that allows the Bang & Olufsen remote control to operate other home entertainment devices via our televisions.  The infra red signals are sent to the other devices via cables, which allow products to be operated even if they are in a cabinet with the door closed, therefore unsightly cables can be tidied away. 

If you were to add a Beo6 LCD remote control, shown below, to the system we can customise it to perform combinations of operations in just one click.  For example, we could put a logo on the remote control of your favourite satellite channel, pushing it once could turn on your television and set top box, turn the motorised stand to you favourite viewing position, lift the volume of your surround sound system gently then go to your favourite channel.

This remote control allows you to change channel to your favourite television / Sky / Freeview / Radio stations at the touch of the channel logo button. Alternatively if your Beo4 is looking tired, we offer an in store make-over; the Beo4 LCD screen, buttons and battery covers are easily replaced whilst you wait.
