The Digital Switchover for our region is now upon us!

This will affect you and we need to speak to you to explain why.

The Crystal Palace transmitter group, made up of the main transmitter and its local relays, serves Greater London and parts of the Home Counties. The transmitter switches in two stages on 4 April and 18 April to give people the chance to check their equipment. It is important your TV is converted by stage one.

This means from these dates if your television does not have a digital receiver you will not be able to view any programmes until you have done the following:

- Replaced your existing television(s) with a new Bang & Olufsen television with a built in High Definition Digital Receiver.
- Purchased a seperate set top box with digital receiver.
- Arranged retuning of your television following the switchover, this only applies to sets with built in digital receivers.

The NEW BeoVision 4 85" and 103" Launch in 3D 

We are pleased to announce that the first 3D television from Bang & Olufsen is due to be launched mid 2011 with the first deliveries due around June. This new television is based on the already popular BeoVision 4 concept. There will be a choice of a fixed wall mount or to add that extra magic we recommend the motorised floor stand which is featured in the clip above. When the television is in standby it measures 1.4m tall, just 8cm more than the BeoLab 8002 loudspeakers and when switched on the plasma panel effortlessly rises to 1.85m and the BeoLab 10  subtly appears underneath.

BeoVision 10 television

The design language of BeoVision 10 is candid and straightforward. A black glass square surface surrounded by a slender polished aluminium frame, which is angled and curved exactly right to maximise the screen surface. The transition to the integrated taut fabric of the loudspeaker is flush. On the back, a concealed wall bracket lets you pull out the screen at an angle up to 45°, so that you can enjoy the best possible viewing experience, even if it is sitting on the beanbags with the kids. BeoVision 10 is now available in three sizes, 32, 40 and 46".
