System Dock
Now you can enjoy the full qualities of your portable iPod/iPhone content on your Bang & Olufsen home entertainment equipment. Music (album covers), photos, and films come to life on a big BeoVision screen, and while you enjoy the entertainment, the dock charges your iPod/iPhone.
Using System Dock, you can even control your iPod/iPhone using your Bang & Olufsen remote control.

AST - Adaptive Sound Technology
With Adaptive Sound Technology, Bang & Olufsen introduces a unique technology that radically improves your listening experience by placing you in the "sweet spot" no matter where you are in the room. This technology has the capacity to transform an entire room into one big sweet area, greatly enhancing your freedom to move around while listening to music and allowing you to place your loudspeakers wherever you want.
Adaptive Sound Technology is available on BeoSystem 3 and BeoVision 7-40 television Mk3 and above. To add it to an existing system, it requires at least two pairs of external BeoLab loudspeakers and a software update to your television. Early versions of these sets may require an additional hardware upgrade - please call for details.

Combining CD, digital radio, SD card recording & playback with stylish design and simple operation - It was recently updated to add some useful new features to SD card playback. You can now FastFwd or Rewind when playing music from the card, resume playback from the last session and even set timer recordings to a blank card.

BeoVision 8-40 has just been updated with the latest 200hz screen technology. This improves the already impressive picture quality, especially on moving objects. In addition, the television set now has 3 HDMI sockets, allowing you to connect to more external HD sources; Blu-ray players, Games consoles etc.
